Yes I really like this episode too! A good, twisty plot, good performances from all the cast and some great cinematography too I think. I definitely do think Morgana’s main gripe with Uther this episode was the fact that he’d hidden who she was to him all this time and still refuses to admit it to protect his reputation. I think she really wanted and tried to get him to admit it in that scene in her room and the final straw was him refusing to tell her. I think to her, that is a sign Uther doesn’t really love her, not enough to admit the truth. Obviously Uther does love her a huge amount, we see that in this episode, but I don’t think Morgana can see that. I do wonder how things would have gone if he told her. She certainly has changed a lot though. I wonder what happened to her during that year when she was with Morgause. It’s a real shame but it does align with the classic tellings of the Arthurian legend. You’re getting steadily closer to some of my favourite episodes of the season and I can’t wait for you to reach the finale!

If Merlin didn't try to kill her, Uther wouldn't have revealed that she's her daughter and she wouldn't have found that out so she wouldn't have tried to kill Uther immediately despite her sister's advice not to, that's why Merlin says he caused it to happen i believe, this is the second time Merlin tries to kill Morgana and everytime it makes her more hateful, if he would've just talked to her ages ago all of this could've been prevented! I do agree that they didn't need to make her "evil" all of a sudden, she has justifiable motivations to hate both Uther and Merlin and as much as I love Arthur i think he's a brat and a woman who has magic ruling Camelot is appealing to me lol, who's to say that Arthur would not carry on his father's hypocrisy and horrible treatment of people with magic? We know he sees magic as bad too, Morgana and morgause are trying to change that, to give more power to people who have been wronged for so long, i empathize with their cause even if i don't approve of some of their actions but i don't give a shit about Uther and omg his hypocrisy this episode!!! I can't with him. I believe Arthur is better than his father so I'm sure he at least won't be as bad but i wonder what would Morgana's rule look like 🤔 this reveal also retroactively made Arthur/Morgana from season 1 incest 😂, it's funny that they're now making Arthur say she's like a sister to me and are just hoping we forgot season 1 lol, if you're gonna give me incest Morgana/morgause are right there lol
