You have the BEST lipsticks. I love bold coloured stuff so this blue is my fave.

Extensive thoughts on Edith/Anthony Strallan: I know there's a substantial age gap, and that (especially between an older man and younger woman, especially then) comes with a power difference, so it can be a concern. But I think that, as long as that power difference isn't being abused, ultimately they're consenting adults who can choose for themselves. And these two are both good to each other - more so than other people are to either of them, tbh. After the war, and how they cared for all the men who came to Downton, I think Edith does have a clearer idea of what it means to care for someone, so if Anthony does ever need that, I don't think she'll shy away from it. Edith is more than people give her credit for, imo. I wish they'd stop trying to decide for her what kind of life and love she should find joy in. So while I was a bit concerned about the age difference at first, honestly I think they're quite sweet. It's not an older person creeping on a younger one, or a younger person exploiting an older one. It's two people liking each other. I'd far rather a genuine relationship with an age difference than a similar-age one made for convenience/status, as so many were. There are worse things, and we've seen some of them - Jorah Mormont dude (idr his name), for example, or Mrs Bates. Frankly, the family need to take a look at their own treatment of Edith if they want to judge someone. And Edith says something that really hits - "...when almost every young man we knew is dead." That's a really good point. The idea that all the young women should marry men around their age doesn't work when there just aren't enough of those men to go around. #LetEdithBeHappy

How do I say it without being spoilery? Anyone else just REALLY chuckling about some of Shelley's particular comments at this point in the series? Don't worry Shelley, I think you'll know what I mean when you get a bit further and be laughing a bit about what I'm referring to yourself.
