Cher was offered a part in this episode. She turned it down because she wanted an acting role rather than just a singing part. She said that she regretted not doing the show after she saw the episode.

Can't wait to watch your reaction of this one - it's one of my fav episodes in the entire show. Beyond its quirkiness and subtle/not-so-subtle humor (and, of course, icky factor), there is a real humanity emanating from this ep (somehow - despite what it touches on), and the original soundtrack is amazing. After watching your reaction: seeing it a bit differently for sure. Always entertaining to watch your reactions, and this season/the next one have a bunch of great episodes up their sleeves, you will see!
