Have to agree with you! I am not connecting the gaps of logic for a few of these characters and the hypocrisy is insane. It's not helping that everyone has their own agenda and are making it spin even further out of control. Especially Annie at the end just leaving BIG details out to fit her narrative just seems oddly very short sided on what the bigger problems are. And Butcher was great with that grin! It looked so great with him and Solider Boy fighting Homelander together since that was pretty beautiful to see.

I loved this episode but so sad that we barely got to see Maeve this season & who knows what happened to her, i love Annie & MM's friendship, i knew soldier boy & butcher would get along they're similar, butcher has always been toxic masculinity symbol

My first thought about A-Train was that he is not dead. However, on rewatch I thought about how he finally understood the damage supes do, he apologized to Hughie and then he took care of Blue Hawk. Would they really leave us with the same cliffhanger they did with him before? So maybe he really is dead this time.

Crazy episode...loved it. If Kimiko and Frenchie do not end up with a happy ending, I will riot!! The voice talking to MM in the door way is Eric Kripke!! Love the subtle SPN easter eggs: burgers, whisky. Not sure if the 'powder' on the nose is one but it reminded me of Dean eating donuts in the episode with Donna.

And he got a good berating from Ashley about his hypocrrasy. It seems like everything is wrapped up for his story line, except perhaps Nathan.

In that video by not detailing what HL has done, she actually made SB seem worse, because she outright said he killed 12 people.</p> <p>Hughie scoffs (rightfully so) at SB's way outdated views of manhood, but then treats Annie like she's a 1900s Gibson Girl to be put on a pedestal. </p><p> </p><p>I actively dislike them both at the moment and prefer Butcher to Hughie. he's under no illusion who he is or his fate. This is my tangent on Jensen being Soldier Boy. I'm loving the show and JA is doing a great job, but I'm having a hard time "connecting" him to the part of SB and getting the image of Dean out of my head when he's onscreen. I thought it would be cool to finally hear JA curse cause I always wished Dean could let the swear words fly, but don't have the same 'kick" I think they'd have on SPN. To make up for all that, JA looks fabulous. I had to laugh when watching some reaction videos and saw MORE men swooning when Jensen came onscreen, saying how good he looked and his deep voice.
