I love this episode for so many reasons! It's a great concept since the Impala is one of the three big stars in this show obviously...it just flows perfectly to me. When Sam is all "Don't "Night Moves' me" with Dean's retort "Just let it wash over you" always makes me warm and fuzzy. And when both sing with Sam's changed car info lyrics. I LOVE THESE GUYS - no hope it will fade!

“An episode that I shall cherish” - yes! 🙌🏼🎉 absolutely. One dear to my heart! So much fun to see you enjoy it too! Awesome reaction 🤗 cheers!

Love this episode! Definitely one of the best episodes, of a great season!

I feel a rewatch coming on with Shelley lol. This is my favourite episode (so far at least, I won't say if anything else is better or not after this). I've been looking forward to your reaction for this. I can't have a top 10 because of so many great episodes, so I have a top 30 for SPN, even that's a struggle haha. Matt Cohen did a really great JDM voice in this episode. I felt like JDM was talking in some of that! Now - there's a script released which shows a bit more of Sam and his hook up. I think it's probably where the monster got those handcuffs from... (and why we didn't see Sam)

Im glad you watched this episode considering everything is going on in the states. This was a fantastic episode, a “MOW” (ish) episode, packed with a lot, specially their conversations and Baby being the main character here was brilliant, only Robbie…. Now, the real question here is, have this episode chaanged your top 5?….

The scene where Dean does that hot 180 stunt turn in the car pushes this episode to top tier for me. Unf and grrrrr! Also, Matt Cohen did a great job again as young John.

Your last point about Sam…lol. This sort of adds to the reasoning for Dean to take a second lingering look in the backseat besides him just having skewed boundaries.

I love this episode so much it is in my top 10 episodes of the whole show sometimes I am even tempted to put it into my top 5 I adore it so much, it was a genius decision to have an episode from baby's perspective plus all of the character beats between Sam and Dean and seeing them just have fun but also talk *chef's kiss* this is always an episode I rewatch

It is all so depressing. We are moving backwards. And then that comment by Clarence Thomas about coming after gay marriage. Anyway, I am going to compartmentalize and just enjoy this episode and time with you. I really needed move out of Florida!

Loved your reaction so much! This episode is one of my absolute favourites, for sure. Definitely top 10 of the series! Everything about it is perfection! Robbie is an absolute genius. The reverse 180 in Baby is one of THE hottest things Dean ever does. And by extension, Jensen, because he learned how to do the stunt over his lunch break on the day of shooting, and then just did it. Dean is indeed, the coolest and dorkiest character ever, and it IS the reason I love him so much! The scene of him fighting Deputy Dumbass while Cas is just chatting away on the phone, makes me laugh my ass off every time. The scene of them talking after Sam's dream makes me tear up every time. When Dean is telling Sam about his reoccurring dream of a "Normal Life", just making his dad proud? 😭 For some reason when he says, "He's teaching me to drive. And I'm not little like I was when he actually taught me to drive..." that sentence just breaks my heart. He did so much, so young! The idea of Dean at the age of what, 9 or 10 years old, learning how to drive that powerful, beautiful beast of a car - just so little behind the wheel. No wonder he loves her so much, and no wonder he's such a capable, badass driver! The shot of the boys stretched out on the seats in opposite directions to sleep, has been my phone lock screen many times. It's so beautiful and so unbearably sweet! Anyway, I'm rambling, I just love this episode with my whole heart! I'm so happy you loved it as much as we all did. I didn't doubt you would. Also, how fantastic was it that you were wearing your Baby shirt. Wonderful!

Sam knowing it wasn't really john coz he told him everything he wanted to hear is a callback to dean knowing it's not really john coz he told him he was proud of him in season 1's finale, so sad, again nostalgia for season 1

This is one of my favourite episodes of the whole series. I love the way Robbie writes Dean. Unlike others, he never forgets that Dean is actually extremely intelligent, as much as he likes to pretend otherwise sometimes. This is the fella that made his own EMF meter out of an old Walkman as a teenager! He's a very smart man. But I feel most people don't seem to realise that Dean's facade is not who Dean is at his core. Also, Dean's John dream just makes me so sad. Again, Robbie really sees him for who he is.

As a single mom of two kids who fall on the LGBT spectrum, financially trapped in a red state, I am TERRIFIED of where we are headed. I am catching up on Patreon this morning, thank you for the distraction! Love this episode, and looking forward to Herogasm next.

I'm a bit hyper-retentive re details, and I consume a *lot* -- books, television, film, media, plays, trivia, history, music, spatial relationships, etc., -- which I use a preface simply to say the following: this is one of the best *and* (not separate) most surprising episodes of television I've ever consumed. It was firing on every single cylinder regarding writing, characterization, filmmaking, recapturing previous magic, casting, furthering current story… I could go on. Supernatural's compendium includes many of my favorite episodes of television -- but if I may also emphasize that this is Season. Freaking. 11. And it gifted us this.
