Timothy Omundson has entered the game! And I do hope you catch him perform with Jensen in fan content! Who doesn't love a man who can play the harmonica? "Even though it's Crowley?" - Hell he is the best character this season! Plus Crowley and Dean are endlessly entertaining to watch as they trade back and forth barbs with ease but still convey the underlying tension and history. FYI - I love all 3 of our dudes but I don't get whole Sam and Cas being the screwups chat. It made no sense...are they forgetting who Dean is just to help "bond" those two? Call me crazy but just watching Cain shucking corn in the background was more enthralling than the syringe/bunker side of this episode.

This is a really good episode. I love seeing Dean like this. Badass. But full of angst too. I should feel bad about liking it when Dean feels bad. I kind of do. I love seeing him happy too, but he's just too hot when he's like this. So once again, Dean is acting reckless. Yes ,he's usually impulsive, but I think he gets more reckless when he's hurting about something - like the rift between him and Sam and Feeling bad about what happened. Actually makes me worry about him because he just doesn't care about himself or what happens when he's like that. Just focused on a dangerous task. BTS info - The actor playing Cain is a well known actor who's done a ton of work and has been in a lot of shows. He talks about his experience on SPN very fondly. They all tend to. He was really impressed with Jensen. Of course. I'll post something on Discord. And, as usual, he and Jensen became friends. Another BTS item - the tall demon with the red plaid shirt - that Dean fought and killed in the kitchen, is his actual stunt double. He's the guy that has stood in for Jensen for most of fight scenes for years.

Welcome to the ever increasing hotness of Jensen Ackles - I see you noticed the stubble... Season 9 trumps all other seasons (so far). I wouldn't say it's scruffy though... This episode has a lot of funny moments, but also some great plot development. It is definitely one of my top tier episodes. Seasons 8-12 I've not seen as much as earlier seasons and I'm less familiar with. So watching your reactions is like a rewatch and a refresher for me. Crowley is like Loki in the MCU - you have no idea whether to trust him or not!

Tim Omundson is amazing as Cain, and Cain in general is a great character and such a good mirror for Dean. I’m so excited now for you to watch the rest of the season! And huge props to Robbie Thompson. He is a treasure.

Can not wait for next episode. Oh shelley welcome to the second half of season 9. We got the clear parallel with dean and Cain and we have a nice duality of dean with crowley and Sam with Cas. Dean is used by crowley who is willing to let other people get hurt to achieve his goal of killing abaddon. He risked dean's life and let that innocent hunter women die. On the other side Cas had a way of getting to metatron but he threw it away for Sam's life because he was not willing to risk it. Both Sam and dean in the end wanted to take on the risks but while Sam wants to regardless of the consequences, dean does his without even knowing his. Again we have a blond women this episode connected with dean part of the story. Everytime that happens i think it always connects back to Mary and what drives both John and dean to hunt. Cain as the FATHER of murder does not avenge his wife's death as abaddon gets away. John never got to avenge mary's death and kill yellow eyes. He drilled into dean's head to be a hunter to avenge her and that is all dean has ever done. john passed that mission to dean. So i found in similar in the way cain passed the mark to dean to finish his mission. But what is interesting about cain is he did not want to keep being this killer and I think that is important point to take note of.

We first heard of Cain in S5 Ep 13 when Michael was possessing John he said to Dean he was able to possess John bc it was a bloodline going back to Cain and Able 😳

Here it goes, i lost count how many times i tried to post my comment FOR DAYS so now i copied it. Awesome reaction like always, i was waiting for you to react to this one because it has so much info and also sets up soooo much more. I agreed with most you said and in the comments i saw that other patreons explained to you what you didn't get, so i will only say two things. FINALLY some alone time for Sam and Cas to bond and for Sam to speak about his feelings regarding closing the gates of hell, being possessed by Gradreel and Dean making the choice for him. My heart breaks everytime with Sam's reaction when Cas mentions Dean, you can see the pain. And Cas always trying to keep the brothers together... and that hug... i died. Regarding Dean taking the mark without knowing the cosequences i always thought that it was very true to his character in that specific moment. Regardles that some writers some times make Dean "dumb" which is funny sometimes, we know that he is smart and he knows there will be conquecences. And i think is deeper than being reckless or impulsive, which he is a lot of times. This hits the core of Dean as a character, and that is he only values himself as the protector of Sam and a hunter, that's his reason to live, without Sam he gets more reckless because he loses his path, and that is why he goes all kamikaze and takes the mark without  a second thought. I mean like Crowley said to him "you problem is that nobody hates you more than you do, believe me i tried" which breaks my heart.
