Really enjoy your rewatches. I just love your energy and enthusiasm overall. You take me back to what feels like eons ago when I watched an episode for the first time(I won't embarrass myself by confessing how many times I've watched the entire series through the years between my DVDs in the early days and later - thanks Netflix- since it would suggest I have no life......). Beyond that there is a list of go to episodes I probably will never stop rewatching. For me, Skin and Something Wicked from season 1start the ball rolling. Something Wicked gave us the sad reality of the boys early years. It freaking kills me every time when Dean says John never looked at him the same way again. All Hell Breaks Loose 2 (yeah, I know, for me , it's about Dean again: I promise you all I love Sam too!) Really it's about Jensen and his performance talking to Sam's dead body. 16 years later and I'm still riveted and cry when I watch it. Houses of the Holy stands out as you said, with how dark the subject matter becomes. It hurts so much to see Sam desperate to be proven right and then remember how let down he is after he's had encounters with Uriel and Castiel. I wonder too, if Dean found a new comfort in the end when he begins thinking he may have seen evidence of God's will. With that door opened he may not have been so angry and disillusioned about Mary telling him angels were watching over him. It's interesting to listen to his conversation regarding the existence of angels with Sam and then jump to season 4 and get the expanded version once Castiel has been revealed. Lazarus Rising is a huge favorite for me. I'm so on board with you doing a rewatch!!!! Btw I just watched Jensen's panel at their first LIVE con since Covid He talked a little about Benny's storyline and wanting to delve further into it. Asked what other SPN character he would choose to play he said Benny. Can't tell you any more than that without spoilers so..........🤷 But I know how much you like Benny. And between us girls, Jensen looked great.

every time i hear sam say "and that maybe i could be saved" i just fall apart. that boy deserved so much better than what he got.
