The character development of G'Kar from the being he was during "The Gathering" to this point is utterly amazing and heartwarming.

The issue that always strikes me with Lyta especially is that the only time people seem interested in talking to her is when they want something from her. She is presented as less a human being than a human verb. There was some initial interest between Lyta and Zack Allen (Which is dealt with in Thirdspace) but short of that she has almost no life outside of "being a commercial telepath." Some of that is because she is still so closely associated with the Vorlons, but I think it is also something that the telepaths have to deal with in general. In the end that gap is the thing that ultimately causes the issues between "Homo Superior" and the "Mundane".

"Homo Superior" and "Mundane" are Psi-Corps distinctions BTW, and pretty much all of the telepaths in the colony are Humans who are fleeing persecution by Psi-Corps, so to the extent that they think of themselves as being superior, they are doing so because that is how their internal propaganda has trained them. The colony telepaths are primarily trying to find a way to exist as telepaths outside of Psi-Corps... not because they are superior, but because they are tired of dealing with having rules put upon them by others who are afraid of them. They have stated their ultimate goal is to find a world where they can just go and be themselves and build a society for themselves, rather than forced to be "just a telepath" when that is just a piece of the whole. Other races have already dealt with their telepath issues one way or another, so in a lot of ways this is actually just a future-ized expression of HUMAN racism/slavery/colonialism.
