Hello, cutie drones. Hex here.

Firstly, allow me to share the part of this that I'm most excited about.

Taking pictures of a subject that can barely move does have its limitations. A seven minute video, detailing its squirms, is much more useful.

This is the first of me really getting to grips with making *Scenes* and filming them. I already know what I want to do with the next one and I know exactly where my methods and techniques need improvement. Specifically, the sound design needs a lot of work and the white balance with the lighting in my room is a bit overwhelming. My lights are just too strong for what I was doing, it seems. Some angles it works perfectly, others less so.

With all of that said, I am, on the whole, very very excited about how this is developing.

Oh, also I bound 0024 up for 2 hours and sometimes took pictures of it and filmed it.

The reason why the bed ended up so scruffy is because I was lying on it while using its immobile lap as my footrest.

It also spent this entire time blindfolded. Why? Because why not. It's sort of a tradition of ours, that it has to be the subject in frame, without having any perspective of where it is or how it's posing. Not that that mattered in this particular instance.

I'll be posting a separate video soon, with Trin and I's experiment with the VR game Mind Melting Machine. This definitely needs some work done before our brainwashing technology is fully up to scratch, at which point I will happily combine the belts, chair and VR-headset into one tidy package.

For now though, enjoy the bubbles and squeaks, and I'll see you all later <3
