Lost memories - Blog 4 "focus" (Patreon)

Just a little news about how this side-project is going

it's getting quite big honestly, but I'm trying to keep it as much contained as I can.

and currently the story has 8 written episodes.

I'm not sure how long each episode in terms of pages will be, as I've just been writing panels after panels but not counting how many they are per page, since I tend to modify or adjust that as I draw the script, pick a bunch of panels and see if it's fit better 4 or 6 per page.

but I'm hoping the episodes to be short, I hope so xd... so far my bet is that most will have 20 pages.

this image is for a scene I got in mind, Xenos sleep inside cubicles carved in a wall of the factory, which is a bit small for Mix's size.

why I put this now, well, it's about the latest episode I was writting, I got several ideas that I want to include in the story, but I don't want to use everything without thinking about it for a long time, not sure how to explain it, but it's important to use just the right scenes and moments to deliver the ideas and advance the story, without making it longer.

I've been practicing writing short, using just what's useful and leave things I originaly wanted outside in favor of making a shorter story... and that's why I named this blog "focus" because if I add more scenes, it will certainly be fun, but the longer I extend the episodes, the most fun readers will have with the characters, but it will be harder to write the ending, and sometimes just the ending takes 2 or 3 episodes to be delivered.

I might make the boxes a little bigger probably when I draw the comic, not sure... but I'm realizing I still need to draw Mix in the style of this comic, it's difficult to keep the proportions in different positions.

I really want to draw this comic, and I really want to have time to do it, I just hope more people get to patreon so I can spend more time drawing comics xd.
