Finished Interior Materials and Beginning Exterior (Patreon)

The textures that I made are high resolution 2k images and it looks really nice for the cactus and plants. Image related:
There were some minor changes to the wall colors in the living room, I think the previous blue was far too strong on the eyes. So it was brought down to a simpler blue tone:
I also made some textures and models for doors which will eventually have logic so the player can rotate and open/close them.
Another thing I worked on was making physics models for some props like the chairs. Being a one man army for a big VR project is taxing on time, so I have to be smart about my workflow and asset creation. I am using my very fast collision builder I made a while back that can be seen in my previous post: https://www.patreon.com/posts/collision-asset-20283425 Collision visualization:
As for the exterior, I haven't given it much though as to what I want to have nearby the house. I do want a big body of water, possibly a beach in the backyard, but for the front yard, I'd like to have fields of crops. However, I have been toying with the idea of having flat top mesas and canyons nearby. I played around with Unity's terrain tool but I didn't really like the results:
Not to mention the terrain tool by itself is really trashy and bad. I will be modeling my own proper mesa models next and popping them into my scene. This will wrap up work on the exterior for now and I will compile a beta pre-release so you can enjoy the extended house, new props, and dynamic water features. Then, the fun pouring water on Shinobu behavior creation will begin.
