Instead of the huge images on preview, do you want lower quality images on preview?
This is for faster loading, but it will have jpeg artifacts.
The attachment files would still be heavy high resolution files.

yes but only if it's not a further waste of time for you. Personally i directly download and keep the galleries i like

Bro the preview can be 240p for all I care if the quality of PNG goes to a terabyte I'll make it work.

There's been a feedback from a guy leaving that he couldn't see the gallery because it was too laggy. I will find a way to bulk export as jpg.
