Birth years are very important in Korean culture… bc respect has everything to do with age there… responsibility… and you’re not supposed to speak formally towards anybody that is older than you. I think it’s why in their society the friendship groups seem to form based on birth year… like jungkook for example is part of the 97liners which is a huge group and there’s like 10 idols from different groups that are good friends and have a group chat and they are often seen out together a lot or supporting one another’s projects… but jungkook is also friends with every BTS member… and they can hangout just the same… but this isn’t just BTS who does this… it’s very common in their culture. Like jungkook and two members of the 97liners all got tattoos that said “truth” at the same time… they’re very close friends. So anyway a lot will be designated by birth year basically. I’m always surprised when jungkook does well with anything when it comes to run BTS bc he’s always forced to go first 😂 be the Guinea pig so his hyungs can learn the best way to do it by watching him go first… it’s so funny and cute! Can’t wait for you to see more… you’re getting towards really fun ones.
