I haven’t seen a Liam performance in a while. That was nice to watch and listen, they sounded wonderful together.

Ah Liam, Liam, Liam… he has had such a hard time compared to the other boys post-1D and it’s a shame because he can’t sing! I think he has struggled to find his lane. He really wanted to go hip hop/EDM but it didn’t suit his voice (or at least didn’t show off his talent). He needs to be a crooner (like John Legend, Harry Connick, Michael Buble). That is his strength but just don’t think he is big on that style of music. He does harmonize wonderfully and I have thought he could do an EP or album that is just duets with fear artists of classic songs and I bet it would do well. He was the first one to have a record deal of the 4 (since Zayn left early he had his first), but then he took forever and the album wasn’t very cohesive and he had dropped half the songs already before the album came out. It just wasn’t handled well. I am worried he isn’t going to stick with music. 😔. It would be a shame because he has a great voice.

He has some really great songs on his album but the reality is that his voice could work so much better with a different genre, something similar to Zayn maybe? His song 'Sunshine' is the one I think is closest to his ideal genre, it's a bit groovy with some funky sound to it, wish he'd find his lane and come out with something truly him... have you checked out his bonus tracks? You can only find them on youtube but it shows off his voice and stuff better. Before It Ends is a good one to start with, plus he uses his sons heartbeat for the beat in it.
