Patrons!!

July is here which means it's Pride Month in my city! I know many of you have been celebrating pride with me in June but I would joyfully uplift being authentically ourselves any month of the year. Attached are your digital downloads for this month and as always, if you need anything sized for a different device let me know.

I've been working on the Pride Portraits series because I wanted to shout just a few incredible creatives that are doing amazing work from and for queer spaces and put the links all in one spot if you'd like to check them out. From left to right:

Chella Man is a New York based multidisciplinary artist who's done a ton of amazing work in performance and visual / mixed media art about complex identities, including being Deaf and trans. He wrote a book called "Continuum" all about identity.

Dionne Brand is an amazing Canadian poet and author and has written a ton of really powerful work on gender, race and social justice. Her writing is amazing and has some beautiful handling of some wickedly difficult subjects like "No Language is Neutral".

Alok Menon is a non-binary author, speaker, poet - tons of mixed media work, and they wrote a really brilliant book called Beyond the Gender Binary . I also really dig this podcast episode with them on We Can Do Hard Things

Cameron Esposito is an amazing comic who also has a book out called Save Yourself which is heartbreaking and hilarious. Cameron also hosts a podcast called Queery that's an amazing jumping off point for a ton more amazing artists and activists.

Guy Branum is a tv writer and comic who also wrote an amazing book of essays called My Life as a Goddess and has one of the best twitter accounts I've ever followed for being absolutely devastatingly sharp but also incredible funny and insightful on everything from pop culture to politics.

It is such a joy to be able to make space for all of you and I am honoured to have an inclusive community. If you have other artists and creatives or organizations you think are doing amazing work tell me everything. It is always a heartening thing to learn more about the good that's happening in the world.

I count you all very much among that good. Thank you for being here friends.

Happy Pride Month.
