Hey Patrons!! Important update about tax stuff! (Patreon)

Hey you lovely folks,

I just wanted to send a note that I got from Patreon about new laws that require them to add tax in a couple new places including Canada. 

If you're a Canadian Patron which I know a lot of you are they're now required to charge a %5 tax (except for QC where tax is already charged because reasons?)

If you need to adjust your pledge because of this I totally get it. Check out the message from Patron below, along with some of the links they sent for extra info.

"Patreon already adds sales tax/VAT/GST to pledges from patrons in most US states and several other countries—anywhere that’s required by law. They’re now required to start adding tax in a few new places: Canada (other than Quebec where Patreon already charges QST), Thailand, Florida, and Kansas.  If you live in one of those places, you should see a small amount of tax added to your pledge starting July 15th for per post, and August 1st for monthly.
