Wow, it's been way too long since I've done a development update on the state of Wabbajack 3.0. A few weeks back I went through a bit of a burnout period and so I took a week break and wrote another modding tool for Pathfinder, a portrait creator, exporter, and gallery (https://www.nexusmods.com/pathfinderwrathoftherighteous/mods/169) that's been a fun diversion and I've learned a lot about Avalonia (the UI toolkit used by Wabbajack 3) in the process. I'm also using this project as a testbed for code signing, and sometime soon I'll compile it for Linux just to work through the issues with Linux deployment on a small project. It's nice to prototype something on a smaller application before having to do it on a codebase as large as Wabbajack.

Coming off that break a week ago I dove back into the compiler UI and got that roughed out. So at this point the UI works mechanically, it looks bad, it could use a fair amount of testing, but it *does* work. I was able to install SMEFT, and recompile it with Wabbajack 3.0, so that's certainly progress.

Very soon I plan on starting a laundry list of "to do before release" items. I want to start installing one list every day and recompiling it, to make sure the compiler/installer all work. And then there's a dozen small fixes and tweaks that need to be done. I don't know how much longer that part of the project will take, but having a list of issues to whittle down will help with time estimation and showing progress.

So that's the update today, things are going well, progress is being made, we're slowly getting there. Thank you for the support, and if you play Pathfinder be sure to check out my new mod.
