Development news! (again without a build) (Patreon)

Hello! I'm fine, alive and almost healthy (I was diagnosed with grade  2 asthma, and a very strong allergy to dust, now I have to take pills  and breathe an inhaler), the development continues and I think in my  posts in the discord channel you could see it.

Why is there no build for so long? Well, there are  several reasons, and the main one is that the platform part of the game  was very poorly done (in fact there was nothing but a double jump and  crawling), and when I started doing levels I realized that most of them  are simple corridors without any interesting mechanics.

So I started working on moving through the levels to make them much more interesting and dynamic.

Right now I have added to the game: air dash, fast running, the  ability to climb the ledges. In the attached video you can see these  mechanics and their work.

You may also have noticed in the video that the running animation has been redrawn. This was done for two reasons:

First, due to the addition of fast running, i had to  make a different running animation and it looked very bad when  combining it and the old running animation.

Secondly, because I wrote the code thanks to which I  will be able to add new clothes to the game without redrawing each  frame of the character! Although it sounds very cool, still for it all  to work I need to redraw each frame of the animation again on one  template, which takes a lot of time. But after I finish redrawing, it  will be possible to make a easy mod so that even YOU can easily add your clothes to the game. This is the main thing I am currently working on in the project.  Although the new mechanics are already working, not all animations are  ready. Also, I'm still at the beginning of redrawing all the animations  for a new template. So far I have nothing to build with any new content.

Although sometimes it seems to me that I complicate my game too much,  and I need to make a simple game at the level of the second version and  not worry. But still it will not be so interesting, although I honestly  do not know.

Although I can't blame the war for the development being delayed,  sometimes I just can't develop because the russians have no pity for my  nation and are committing genocide. I'm sorry to say this, but it  affects me, and I have a lot of hatred that I've never felt ...
