It's that time of year again. Spooky stuff, or what passed for spooky stuff back in 2001. After DNF, it was incredibly satisfying to play something that isn't trash. I'm hoping to do it again soon.

There's also going to be uh... SOMETHING happening tomorrow that you might hear about related to a franchise this channel has gotten a lot of mileage out of. When that happens... that'll be the next video. You'll know when you see it.

Oh, and I've been informed there are two chapter vi cards. That will be fixed.

shoot me a message calling me an asshole and telling me to fix it.

Or if you want one of those fancy colored names that everyone gets now if they want. The credits in the video are usually a couple of days behind the actual patron list.

Hey Civvie! You should play "Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malachi" for this Halloween month, it's not so great but you should play it! This game reminded me of it. Also, great video!

Hey civvie, new patron filip nygren here, but you can use this name in the future. Like you, I also noted that Patrick held the pistol in his left hand. Maybe it's a swashbuckler thing where you would want your sword in your main hand, or is he just left handed like Doomguy(?)

I’m taking it that something is Postal 4, right? About fuckin’ time!

Also, my name hasn’t shown up in the credits as a supporter for the past few videos, so if that could be addressed, I’d be mighty appreciative!

killbotvii

Civvie how the hell do you upload so frequently? Ross, Mandelore, Sseth, etc, they all upload like monthly. Somehow, you seem to upload sometimes weekly!

Oh! Speaking of titles that were an embarrassment to a popular franchise, play Command and Conquer: Renegade from 2002. I mostly remember the vehicles (which was the style at the time) and multiplayer, but looking back it looks pretty bad, and the story is stupid.

I'm rather happy with the fact that my first patreon credit comes at the end of Clive Barker's Undying. This was a staple in my youth. I never played the full game, but what I did play always captured my imagination.

Yup, had pretty fond memories of this game. Definitely up there in the same area as The Suffering in games I thought were pretty good that never get talked about or remembered. Clive Barker is a neat dude. He's done great horror, had a neat game and for whatever reason some of his best books are a Young Adult book series in a fantasy world. Like seriously, what the heck?

Hadn't thought about this game in ages. I remember it being a bit of a ball buster when I was younger. Also, I never thanked you for changing the colour of my name in the credits like a month ago, so I also wanted to say thanks for that as well

Seconding your enthusiasm for The Suffering (1 & 2 in my case); there was a period in the 90s when 3rd-person action horror games were hot; three of my absolute favorites from the period (that aren't Resident Evil or Silent Hill, which go without saying) are The Suffering, Illbleed, and Shadowman. Would totally love to see Civvie's take on any of these, but I don't know if 3rd-person's his thing.

I just want to say that "Clive Barker's Jericho" wasn't that bad. I mean for some reason I have very limited memory, almost as though it was blocked by my subconscious, but the horror elements and visuals were really awesome... I think.
