Hello everyone,

I'm excited to share some important updates regarding MyWaifuList and the recent developments to enhance the platform. We've welcomed several new power users to our team who will play a crucial role in moderating site quality, improving gallery moderation, and expediting Waifu approvals. These changes are geared towards providing a better experience for all our users.

To ensure transparency and awareness of the ongoing improvements, we've introduced a new history tab on Waifus, accessible to power users and up. This feature displays the historical changes of a Waifu on a per-field basis, akin to the self-sustaining model used by Wikipedia. We believe this will foster a more collaborative environment within our community.

New Front End Forms

We recognize the importance of user experience and accessibility. We are currently rebuilding all front-end forms to handle date inputs more efficiently and improve overall front-end accessibility. This endeavor will significantly enhance the usability of our platform, making it easier for everyone to interact with MyWaifuList.

DMCA Update

On a different note, I'd like to address the DMCA situation. We recently sent a fair use counter-notice, but it has been 10 days, and unfortunately, Google has yet to restore the listings of MyWaifuList. Rest assured, I'm closely monitoring the situation, and I will keep you updated on any progress regarding the restoration of URLs.

It's worth noting that since filing the counter-notice, it seems that comeso gmbH has ceased sending daily DMCA requests to our URLs on Google. This may indicate a positive development, as continuous DMCA notices could potentially lead to legal action against us.

I understand that submitting my personal information as part of the counter-notice was a risk, as I value my privacy. Nevertheless, I felt it was necessary and really hope it does not end up in some sort of public filing.

Thank you all for your support. <3
