LOL, I'd love to do this lick, but my pinky points inward so I have little reach. I don't know why it's that way since I've never had an injury.

I can not reach the 7th fret with my pinky. How do you do this? Have to lift off fingers 1 and 2 for the pinky to reach the 7th fret!

Hey Philip, I also have some range of motion issues with my pinky. I hope you are experimenting with a work around. As you can see in the video, I use my ring finger for playing this lick higher up the neck. That may work for you on the lower frets as well.

Hey Malcolm, which lick are you speaking of? The one featured in this video, or is it one of the bonus licks on the tab sheet?

Thank you for your reply, Rob! While for some songs I can use a work around, some I can't. I'm just working on improving my stubborn pinky. If I hold my hand flat, I can stretch all my fingers very well. The problem arises when my hand is curled over the guitar holding a chord, and my pinky won't move away from my ring finger. For example, if I'm doing an A minor chord and want to additionally put my pinky on the B string 3rd fret, I can barely get it beyond the 2nd fret since it stays so close to my ring finger. It's like there is no muscle to move the end part (distal phalange) of my pinky away from the ring finger. The other flanges move just fine.
