Hello friends,

As mentioned in my previous post, I now have license to begin posting many of my most popular lessons and transcriptions on the powerful Soundslice platform. For my beginner students, I invite you to learn this basic approach to playing the Ben E. King classic "Stand By Me." In this lesson you will learn how to perform a 1.6.4.5 progression in G major and an exciting percussive strumming pattern. Let's get started!

Hi Rob,first congratulations with Adèle that was the name of my well beloved grandmother (born in 1888). I am a bit puzzled with the lesson structure, I followed a few courses already (Paul Davids/ Guitar tricks) but I keep on struggling with speed ( I am 70) so I thought to have a full quick refresher. Do you offer that? If so do I need to become a 15$ patron. And how to find a course easily on t your website? I see lesson 1/2/3 onchords but then? , Thanks Luc

if this is your new format for patreon then I'm going to unsubscroibe... like the way it was. I don't wish to search for pdfs that used to be readily available

Hey Brian, I am creating soundslice content in addition to PDFs and all the other resources you are use to. In the future it is possible that some resources may need to be switched over to only Soundslice, but that would be because of copyright issues that are beyond my control. Keep in mind that I am working tirelessly to make sure my patrons can continue to enjoy my full library of resources.

Entering “Stand By Me” into the search bar at Patreon.com/swiftlessons will reveal a few post on that song. Each of these post includes attached PDF study guides or chord sheets.

Thanks for providing this guidance Jurgen. I think everyone will come to enjoy using Soundslice once they become better aquatinted with it's features and layout.

It took a few minutes but I did finally get the pdf following Jurgen's directions. But it sure would be easier for us old folks if you would just provide a straightforward link to a pdf. That said, I would be remiss if I didn't mention how happy I am to have found your lessons. They are a great addition to other online lessons I use and I am using them every day (which is a testament to their value). Thank you.
