Hello friends,

Welcome back to Swiftlessons for another acoustic blues guitar lesson. In today's session I've broken down lead and rhythm tricks borrowed from the late-great Stevie Ray Vaughan. We'll begin this tutorial by learning a classic lick in the open E position, before tackling SRV's unique approach to playing dominant 9 chords. Let's get started!

Always love a Stevie lesson but are you double jointed Rob? No way I can get my thumb round the 7th fret with my index over the 6th A string.

Me neither! Trying hitting the base note using my index, then moving it to the A string.
