Hello friends,

Welcome back to Swiftlessons for another by request song tutorial. In today's session we'll be using Gloria Gaynors 1978 classic "I Will Survive" to level up our rhythm and lead guitar playing. Together we'll learn to perform the tunes chords & rhythm for solo performance, how to perform the orchestrial section as a guitar solo, and finally, how to perform the funky guitar rhythm heard in the original track. Let's get started!

Thanks Neal, I'm not a big disco fan, but I'm always excited to find new techniques, especially in non-guitar performance. This tune is chockfull of useful concepts. Enjoy! -Rob

This is so cool. Thanks Rob. Also, the guitar sounds great. What is the brand, if you don't mind me asking?

Great lesson. However why cant we simplyvprint chords-tabs _ lyrics as usual. Thats important for practicing. So new system is worse unless it will be possible to print imnediately and with minimum paper.....

Hey Yair, did you mean to comment on this post or my recent soundslice post? If it’s the latter, keep in mind that there are separate post for those songs containing chord sheets.
