Whoa!! The late Smokey Robinson? Thankfully he is still with us!

swiftlessons

Oh damn, thanks for catching that mistake... It was left over from my original post about David Ruffin. Yes, thankfully, Smokey is still kicking!

Hey thanks Timann, so glad you enjoyed this lesson and others. It's amazing how one new technique can add so much to your playing. I'll be sure to add more tid-bits like that in the future.

Great lesson, as usual. I like to view them on my iPad, which I can also put on my music stand. But it seems to be impossible to "click" on links in the tutorial such as "learn the percussive hit" in this lesson. How can we find these links otherwise? Or are there other browsers which will allow? I tried searching for this in the Pateon search box with and without "Swift" with no luck. Must I use a PC?

Rich, thanks so much, so glad you're digging this lesson! Great question. Your inability to access the links on your iPad is YouTube's fault. Annotations are not functional on mobile devices. I've been told by a rep at YouTube that rather then fixing this issue, they've decided to phase out annotations all together.

This is a jam packed lesson, but the way you've laid it out, I have no doubt I'll be able to play it. Can't stop thanking you enough, Rob for the best lessons out there! Happy pickin' is right!
