Good morning guitar enthusiast!

I'm hard at work handling your request for new lessons, tabs, and chord sheets. Digging into the archive, I decided to make up a pdf chord sheet for my lesson on Otis Redding's 1968 classic "Sitting on a Dock of the Bay." This resource will include chord diagrams and tabs for the chord transitions. Enjoy!

Great first tune to learn in my opinion. I tackled this one early on as well, and it's always stayed with me. Thanks for checking in!

Great lesson Rob!! Really like your style of teaching

This is terrific! I have found that the basic strum in this piece starting with the picked base note is really useful in many songs and sounds great! The picked base note is usually one of the nots you are singing. (I know I need to understand music theory better) I tried it with "April Come She Will" by Paul Simon and it sounded good. Thanks! All of your lessons are filled with gems.

This is another fabulous lesson. There are so many things that you do to make your lessons work for everyone. The standouts for me are that you sing the song through at the very beginning with the lyrics and chords shown. Then you teach each section of the song, building on what was taught along the way. That makes it so easy for me to go back and revisit the parts that I need to work through. Everything about your lessons and your style are so professional and genuine. You generosity here is palpable. Thanks!
