Hey friends,

As some of you may have read in the comments of my last post, I am saddened to pass on the news that our incredible friend and studio dog Otis passed away last Saturday. While this is a devastating loss for our family, we take solace in knowing Otis is no longer suffering with cancer, and that he was able to pass at home, surrounded by the people he loved.

Throughout this difficult week I have once again found myself turning to the healing power of music, spending many hours strumming through the tunes that remind me of the good times we shared. One such song is Neil Young's 1976 classic "Long May You Run," which instantly evokes memories of spring time hikes, trips to the shore, and backyard naps with our beautiful boy.

Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the tune and see what you can learn on your own using my attached chord sheet and tab. In the coming week, I will be shooting a video lesson breaking down the rhythm parts and Stephen Stills' beginner friendly guitar solo. Enjoy your practice!

P.S. Thanks so much for the outpouring of support over this last week. Natalia and I have drawn strength and perspective from reading about your personal experiences with loss, and have greatly benefited from your words of consolation. 🙏

Hey Rob, I'm not ashamed to say this brought a tear to my eye. We lost our dog Max about 16 months ago and this brought it all back. Cheers, thanks.

Rob I don’t think I’ve ever experienced anything more painful than losing my beloved Charlie what you see me holding in this extremely kitty picture of my wife took who is a photographer and I’m now just revisiting your side because after I watched and read your plea for anyone with a positive outcome for Otis we all know where this is going and it’s brutal
