Hello friends,

Welcome back to Swift Guitar Lessons for another song tutorial. In today’s session we’re going way back to 1941, as I break down the Ink Spots “I don’t want to set the world on fire.” This is a very interesting song that’s been featured in several films and also the popular video game Fall Out. We'll begin by learning the tunes iconic intro, before breaking down the chord progressions and strumming techniques for the verse and bridge sections.

I would I also like to introduce to you the new and improved roadie tuner. This cool little gadget has evolved into an all in one tuner, metronome, and string winder that’s perfect for speedy string changes and those moments where you really need to be perfectly in tune.

Thanks for this one, Rob! Born in 1944 and I remember my parents listening to it. I haven't played those jazz chords in a long time, but the fingers remembered them.

Great song! Heard it originally on the game Fallout and have loved it ever since.

Love this song! Great jazzy progressions and very nice tenor vocal accompaniment. Hope we can breakdown more like it Rob.

Rob, I've been teaching for over 40 years (not guitar!) and admire your presentation style. You have not forgotten what it is like to be 'learning' and because of that your lessons are extremely helpful. Cheers!
