Hello friends,

Since my last John Denver tutorial was such a big hit, I've decided to revisit his catalog with a complete break down of "Leaving on a Jet Plane." My arrangement combines elements from the original album version and the 1973 Greatest Hits recording.

Love this song. It was actually first performed at my alma mater Denison University in the Bandersnatch Cafe on campus. Of course, that was before I was born....

A great song and lesson. Using this picking pattern really makes the song. In the intro, it would help to show the chord shapes as in the chorus and verse. I hate to admit being too lazy to figure that out! I've been your fan for a long time and that never changes. Thanks, Rob, for being the consummate pro.
