Hello friends,

Today I'm getting back to song tutorials starting with Chris Cornell's rendition of "Nothing Compares 2 U." This version is full of essential techniques including basic chord shapes, and strumming patterns typical to pop/rock music. Take a moment to enjoy Chris's performance, and reacquaint yourself with the tune using the attached chord sheet and strumming guide. I'll be back later with a complete tutorial breaking everything down. Enjoy your practice! -Rob

Note: Chris's strumming varies throughout the performance, below is an  approximate, and somewhat simplified outline of the rhythms used in each section.

I assume you will also show us how to sing like Chris! Anyway, looking forward to seeing your lesson, shame about the Bb though.

Hey Mark, there are some ways around that B-flat major chord that I will demonstrate. Be on the lookout for a range building vocal lesson in the coming days! I can’t promise you’ll sound like Chris Cornell, (no one does) but I can help you develop and strengthen the voice you have. Thanks for the support, talk soon. -Rob

IS the solo tab out yet? Thanks!

Hey Sam, let's see if I can buckle down and teach this solo when I get back to Philly. I apologize for the delay, theres so much stuff I want to break down and other projects eating up my time and attention, but I'm going to put it on my calendar for Thursday.
