Hello friends,

Tomorrow I plan to release this new lesson on The Beatles 1966 classic "Here, There and Everywhere." In this session I'll break down the chord progressions for the intro, verse and chorus sections, and also some very useful fingerstyle techniques. This tune is simple in it's construction, but does feature several barred shapes, for those of you still struggling to play those chords, approach this tune as an exercise, and be sure to apply my tips for conquering barre chords. Let's get started!

Rob, this is a really neat addition to the repertoire to help work on those barre chords that I'm still struggling with. I just love the way your breakdowns incorporate so many techniques to help us jazz up our playing. Can't thank you enough for your thoughtful and detailed lessons!

Hey Pam, my pleasure, I'm slowly getting through all my favorite Beatles tunes, and it's been a ton of fun. I got a bunch of great request to work on, but will be aiming to add some more "easy strummers" for the next few videos. Expect a little Sam Cooke by weeks end!

Hey Friends, sorry I just realized I got a few lyrics wrong in my demonstration, putting so much mental energy into that strumming pattern, it's easy to make silly mistakes like that. Anyway, one of the most interesting elements to the songs motif is the fact that each consecutive verse begins with a word from the title - verse 1 "Here", Verse 2 "There" and Verse 3 "Everywhere." ABSOLUTELY GENIUS!

Hey, Rob, this lesson is just delicious, so many terrific techniques that build on so many things your've taught in other lessons. Your pdfs make all the difference by providing the visuals to help me learn the songs and the techniques, but they also serve as invaluable reference points for other songs and song writing. I love knowing what to do to play well but I just wish I could actually do it. Patience, I know. You're terrific.

Thanks Dawn, I'm really working to make 2018 my best year yet. Glad you're finding so much value in these resources, especially the PDFs. I got a very easy strummer on deck in "Bring it on home to me" by Sam Cooke. Expect that up soon!

Thank you Ron, glad you’re enjoying it. I agree, certainly one of the best Paul tunes, at least of the early years.
