Great video! Question: Why do you see diagrams of the Am Pentatonic Scale with the open strings and some diagrams without? Is it due to where the five positions fall on the neck (amount of available frets?) and need to come "back around" if that makes sense?

Wooo,Rob I am glad that I don’t miss this video! It is really useful and feel less painful when trying hard to remember the notes on the fret board! :0)

This is a really good lesson. Thanks, Rob.

Hardest part of the lesson comes at the end when you tell us to say the notes out loud when playing a scale forward and backward, and to always know what notes we are playing. Forward okay. Backward. OUCH! (But important.)

Rob, you are the BEST! Finally, I get it...at least the concept now makes real sense. The diagrams on the pdf are fantastic. I just never understood the relationship between the shapes and the root note. Yes, this will take a while to settle into my head, but having the concepts clear is something I never had before. Having this information to work on will keep me busy through the long, dark of winter! Thanks for making my question important and for the incredible turnaround for this lesson. I am enormously grateful!
