Hello friends,

I hope you're enjoying your practice, making progress and that you are ready to add another classic tune to your repertoire! In today's lesson, I've broken down Bill Withers 1971 classic "Ain't No Sunshine."

We'll begin by learning a beginner friendly version of the song, using basic open position chord shapes. From there, I'll introduce the actual guitar part Bill performed on the original track.

This is a fantastic song for beginners to learn, as it include many of the most common major and minor chord shapes. It also provides the opportunity for novices to explore the fretboard, once they have mastered the basic approach. Let's get started!
