Hello friends,

Today we're digging back into the Swiftlessons archive to study one of the most interesting songs I've ever taught, Pearl Jam's "Thin Air." In this tune, songwriter and guitarist Stone Gossard combines eastern and western music to create a rich, and somewhat dissonant musical statement. One of the most intriguing details of this tune is that it completely avoids the use of minor chords, making it a fantastic tune for anyone working toward mastering the essential major chord shapes. Let's get started!
