One of the various traits a Dwarvenborn kobold would have are golden scales. Serving as camouflage and a reflection of their home, their usually-analogous colored scales become a contrasting golden tone, holding much of the similar luster that gold ore has as well.

Some also undergo the same religious Runescribing ceremonies that their dwarven cousins do as well, granting them enhanced abilities and respect among their cohorts.
