Please Be Happy Pre-Release Preview (+news??) (Patreon)

Hihi, today we're bringing you a super quick look at an early Chapter 2 scene from PBH, including voice acting! This is Miho's first morning in the library, right after the demo ends. The voice acting here is still unedited, meaning that it hasn't gone to the audio engineer yet to be fixed up and is also pretty quiet, so you might need to turn your volume up to be able to hear it. We've been doing a lot of VA recording sessions these past few days - sometimes doing 6-8 hours of recording in a single day - and are getting close to the end for the main characters. There are a few scenes that we absolutely can't wait for everyone to experience - the recording sessions alone brought a couple people to tears.

As we're starting to wrap up development on PBH, we have something special to share with you all: an estimated release date! Please do not share this date outside of this post/the Patreon channel in our Discord server. Since this is still an estimate, things could change between now and then. If all goes well, we're hoping to commit and announce this date publicly near the end of this month. Anyway, we're aiming to release Please Be Happy next month on November 25th. There's still a bit of the game left to finish, and then testing, but we're optimistic about this goal. We are only expecting to be releasing the PC version of the game next month, with console versions hopefully coming out early next year. It mostly depends on how much additional work it'll take to get support for other platforms added and working. There's a chance that will be faster than we anticipate and those versions can come out this year, but we're not counting on it right now.

After a couple loooong years of development, the end is finally in sight for this game. We're super excited for you all to finally get to experience it in just a few more weeks. Thanks for all your support~
