What We're Working On - November 2019 Edition (Patreon)

minute here with this month's Patreon update. If you're reading this, we heart you so much. Thank you for the support! We hope the new tier setup is to your liking, because we really are excited for you all to see what we have in store for the coming months. From now on, expect a bigger amount of meatier posts, like sneak peeks from our games! Which, btw, we have quite a few of. Our $5 patrons can expect to see more of these games in the near future!

You may have noticed that along with our new tiers, we updated our Patreon’s main page to include the titles (or Secret Project numbers!) of the games we’re currently working on. This post is to detail those projects just a tiiiny bit! Without further ado...

*PBH (Slice-of-life, urban fantasy)

Heyo, it's Adi! I'm the director for PBH! It's an urban fantasy set in a fantasy Wellington, which is in fantasy New Zealand. Inspired by iyashikei like Aria, it's a healing slice-of-life visual novel with two love interests. We're working really hard on it, and I hope you all enjoy it when it comes out!

*Samayuuni (Solarpunk)

Samayuuni is about finding your place in the universe, and about reconnecting with old friends. It's about humanity and nature co-existing, and what life would be like not just here on Earth. It features good vibes only, and has three different love interests.

*Lock and Key (Magical girls)

Two retired magical girls, a married couple named Sherri and Kealey, are on the eve of losing the powers they’ve had for over a decade. While they struggle to come to terms with what this loss means to them and their future, they find themselves tangled up in a magical murder mystery tied to a memory they’d much rather forget.

Together with an old friend and a new protege, Sherri and Kealey will have to face their demons and put the past to rest once and for all before their magic runs out for good. Inspired by the magical girl renaissance of the 90s, Lock and Key is a story of womanhood, recovery, and the healing power of love.

(Hey everyone! For my directorial debut, I wanted to tell a story from the genre that's inspired me since I was a little girl. This game is a real passion project for everyone involved, and I hope you can feel the love we put into it when you play it for yourself! -Rachel)

*We Dream Of Lighthouses (Gothic fantasy)

See the world through the eyes of Celia in the rainy town of Shalott. When the realm of dreams begins to invade reality, it's up to her to bring together three very different Magicians and keep the town she loves safe.

We Dream of Lighthouses is a multi-route, gothic fantasy Adventure VN. It features investigative gameplay, a dark and moody atmosphere, and of course: smooching gals.

*Highway Blossoms: Next Exit (DLC)

Highway Blossoms: Next Exit takes the cast back to the crown jewel of the Mojave Desert: Las Vegas. Amber and Marina return to the city for an alien-themed convention, but Amber's surprised to run into a past acquaintance as well: Cassi, the candy shop girl. With POV swaps and a couple choices, it explores how people can be alone together.

*Celeste Academy (Patreon-Vote Dating Game!)

If you’ve been here awhile, you know all about Celeste Academy. Follow Carida on her journey of love, where she dates 12 different girls… each one decided by YOU! But now, all of these posts are free to read for everyone! Patrons at any pledge level will now get the voting posts 3 days early to choose who Carida will meet next. Every post also features a different writer, so please check it out!

In addition to the dating game, we hope to expand the Celeste Academy universe through other media as well, such as light novels and other posts, like this $5+ tier bonus written and illustrated by adirosa.
