It took me a second to figure out there was another person, as I was too focused on the beauty of gorgeous snake lady & trying to figure out what she was holding. I love the design above her head & the flow of her body. & are they snake faces in the shadows of the black surrounding the tiny gal?

yes! I was trying to include some details from the Coatlicue statue. She has a necklace of hands and human hearts, so the necklace in her hand is inspired by the way the hearts are represented in the sculpture
