March 2023 Forecast (Patreon)

I've made 46 of these, 47 counting this one. That's kind of crazy to think about. The break is over. And I think I'm in a better place, think being loosely thrown around here because I haven't really put it into true practice.

Done, Dones, and Doners (of February 2023)

• Sea of Stars: A lot of behind the scene things. Just me adding in the species information, shifting some things around, taking it out of first and second draft form and into actual third and probably beta version. I did a bit of writing before I guess writer's block hit me with something hard. I don't really know what hit me, still trying to figure it out if I'm to be honest. But there was at least a good bit of editing and some re-thoughts like giving the hound a personality like your dragon from Dragon Racer, some brainstorming about some big choices coming up, and further MC fleshing out.
• ToA: Editing on Ozara has been going on as well as Nour, trying to fix all the present/past tense issues because my god there's a lot of them.
• Insight: Editing from prologue through to chapter four has been done which is actually probably my biggest thing because that was a lot. So of course new bugs have been introduced (the fix for Averill not popping up as a LI will be pushed out with the next update). Fingers say ooph.

Looking Forward To ...

• Superstition: *stares at it* I'm going to try, no promises because during my break I attempted to write some of it and it didn't really go anywhere. My brain was wishing to work on everything else. And like I've said, no deadlines.
• Short Story Collection: Slight tweak to this. It's still coming out but I think what I'm going to do is redo some of the stories. I keep wanting to do these extra things but then when it comes down to it, my brain explodes and I can never fall through and it's annoying. The closest one to being done is Ozara, I just have to do her sex scene but I don't even think her story is all that interesting. Nour is stagnant, and Zarik's little porn without plot got like 30% of the way before suffering the same fate. So yea, I may redo them or just leave them be. I know my friend gave me the idea of doing a What If series like for Superstition, what if you were with Rahim this entire time and I actually love that. If you have an idea you know where to find me, no promises but I will take a look at each.
• Insight: I'm really hoping to finish up the rest of the edits and be able to then be in a position where all I have to do is just start writing. So look to more updates on that.
• ToA: I'm hoping to either A) get Nour's chapter five out this month or B) at least get most of it out of the way. Makaio's demo as well as she is so close to being done, I just need to force my brain to concentrate.
• Sea of Stars: I don't think chapter two will be ready this month to be honest, but of course I will continue to post the characters and the last two species that will be getting art. The Qirut (the creature poll) is already in development and I'm psyched about seeing at how they develop.
