Now that you've seen how strong are top-tiers of emperor's crew, it recontextualizes the strengh of Inuarashi and Nekomamushi (DogStorm and CatViper). That they were pushing back Jack, even with nightly rests, is very impressive, considering they were fighting for 12 hours straight at a time. Jack is something else too, his stamina is very good. What I love about One Piece is that Oda from the get-go established a power ceiling and he holds to it for the entire epic. With Mihawk casually slashing mountain sized boats with unnamed slashes, to Logia's destruction with Enel's lightning bombs wiping out islands (and to address the meme that he didn't kill Pagaya and some other fodder real fast, those were just "regular" lighting attacks from him and not his very best- his island destroyer didn't land on anyone) and admirals being top of such a class of power, all of them being still relevant and not switched out with some bigger threat because Oda "needs to one up it" - he doesn't, it's so well planed out; and of course Marineford showcase and many more - we are still going for those heights and about reaching them. Entering New World we heard of Akainu and Aokiji boxing for 3 days. And now we are entering the point where Luffy is boxing for hours straight, from night into early morning with a strong adversary - we are inching closer to earlier established legends and experiencing them with the strawhats front and center.

The reason why Chopper didnt like "chobro" is because in japanese it sounds very similar to the japanese word for racondog. And that is something he hates, coz ppl keep mistaking him for one.

Luffy fighting for hours on end making akainu vs aokiji 3 days make real lot of sense, these heavy hitters don't go down easy.Then again, old whitebeard fought for hours after squard stabbed him, 2 holes in his chest, etc. Now imagine what kind of madness is required to take out healthy, of age emporers like Big mum, shanks or Kaido

Oda only makes fights that long if they already happened and he only has to show a snippet through a flashback, like Ace vs Jimbei or minks vs Jack. None of the full fights are longer than a day or ever will be bc Oda's writing is weakest when he tries to get serious about powerups and fighting ability. Heck even Luffy takes multiple breaks while fighting a yonko. If you disagree just think about how Luffy takes out all his recent arc antagonists, it's just a big fist with a slightly different variation every time, there's very little imagination involved for both the fight ending and fight choreography. I'd argue Oda's writing for shounen battles is not good enough to make a three day fight interesting, it would honestly just be a bore fest. Any fights that last that long will only be shown in snippet flashbacks up until the end of OP, heat and hus ya'll can trust me on that

@Surya I'm sorry but this is the dumbest comment I've read this entire month. I also love how you add "trust me on that" at the end - comedy. Nobody can trust you on anything because you don't even grasp the very basics of writing. You only have some buzzwords you saw online, and can only throw them out like its a proper critique - but it means nothing. Having a battle (be it a war or a 1 on 1) be "1 day long" in no story equals to 24 hour long battle on screen or page real time, EVER! Having highlights of the fight is actually what writing is about. It encompasses anything in writing, that's the distinction between reality and fiction. You don't want to actually read 17 Lord of the Ring books, 16 of them being the descriptions of all their walking, because they crossed thousands of miles in the story, until the end, just because it would be "snippet flashbacks" otherwise. You paint the general picture - the rest you can fill out with your mind. When it comes to myths and epics like One Piece is, with feats of legendary proportion where characters can fight for days even - that doesn't mean you show all of it to prove that fight is actually 24h - that's beyond stupid, and nobody expects it either, when it comes to battle, travel, showcasing of a town or whatever. And certainly Hus and Heat are NOT expecting to see fights that go in real time for 72 episodes (20min x 72 = 24h) because they understand how a story operates. You can trust me on that. As for fight choreography and imagination you are straight speaking nonsense. Choreography part is lacking because Toei is on a weekly show schedule, and sometimes doesn't deliver the best it could be. But even then, it makes 0 sense because choreography is there - they move, dodge, go for different blows, and use their powers - that is choreography - they dont stand there still and slug each other for 5 minutes. Oda is very creative with devil fruits. And characters have bags full of moves - it takes a fruit like strings and makes it have all kinds of utility - from slicing and dicing, to flying being attached to clouds like Spidey or operating on your organs to birdcage and string puppets. As for Luffy finishers, and also why is that some sort of point made against choreography? even this fight is different from the ones in Dressrosa; ultimately luffy obviously will use his fists and kicks - what do you expect? He is a brawler. It's like criticizing Batman for using his fists and utility belt. And Luffy is a very fun brawler, he uses his head and teeth if need be, and silly moves like gum gum UFO, so no, he is not just using "big fist". You plain hating.

Yh idk what this guys on, he must’ve just ignored luffy vs lucci, enel, hell even Magellan, these are not simple “I hit you with my fist and win” - so stupid . To say he needs to prove it’s a days long fight is stupidly ridiculous

Just in case somebody is wonderring about the Kong Organ Gun: I think Luffy vibrates his arms so fast that it looks like he has 6 arms, but its just 2 shaking really fast, so like you guys said its like a gatling in G4. Pls correct me if I‘m wrong
