Gonna start adding little lore pages to this comic since my friend Penny and I have so much lore for this setting that it's probably a little too dense for people to just casually get into.

But yeah, the Gateworld has no typical flying, fire-breathing dragons. Dragons in this world refer to sea-dwelling reptiles that are based on Mesozoic aquatic reptiles like Plesiosaurs, which in the Gateworld are fat filter-feeders. And I didn't know this before we decided to make them filter feeders but there is apparently paleontological evidence that there might have existed a filter-feeding Plesiosaur in the past called Mortuneria. Cool stuff!

Wakehounds are the Gateworld's sharks and are based on Ichtyosaurs and Gale Dragons are based on Mosasaurids. I hope to show my ideas of them in the future :)
