I have been experimenting with VR video rendering and it would be possible to make for certain animations in case people are interested. (180-degree/field of view, stereoscopic).

It does however require extra rendering time and work on my end to deliver VR videos. So this poll will help me know if that is something a lot of you will be able to enjoy, or if it is only a few.

Very late to the party, but thanks so much for taking the time to render VR versions of your videos, they're really good!

I plan to get a valve index sometime in the next few months. Vr content would be GREATLY appreciated

Back when I had my Gen 1 Vive I never thought to use it for naughty stuff...

Judging by the poll. There's just not enough good content in VR that warrants buying the VR gear. But if Clopician takes the initiative I'm sure quite a few of us would follow the vr art.

VR headset is a sliding scale of quality. I assume you mean closer to the Vive end of the scale? As opposed to the Google Cardboard end? Depending on how well it will work on the cardboard end of the scale, a lot of people who said 'I don't have one' might have a GC, or plastic version of one.

I think anything that can view VR content is good enough to be classified as VR headset, in terms of this poll.

personally i don't have one and have no plans on getting one, so any clopician vr content will be unconsumable for me 😥 unless it's like coss-eyed stereogram stuff haha

KoRnBrony

I wish i had one but i can't justify the purchase yet

I have been asked many times to make VR renders, this poll shows that 20%-30% would use their headsets to watch it. So I don’t see it as a waste of time. At the moment I’m keeping it simple by rendering some existing works into VR that I find to be fitting. But I’m not going to spend significant amount of time on it.

The princess Cadance loop is amazing ! You had a great idea with VR.

I wish; I probably won't be able to use VR in the forseeable future because my OS is Linux (not supported).

Download Wine for linux to use VR players made for windows. Or google ”linux vr player” to find people on reddit recommending packages for linux you can try.

just be careful when using the VR headset so you don't get caught with the sausage in your hand
