Aiden & Gray release (Patreon)

I've been thinking a lot about the future of Tailor Tales. Currently I'm working on James' route, of course, and next in line is Aiden. James is projected to be finished at the end of this year, or early 2021.

Aiden is a very niche character. He is nerdy, kind of perpetually scared, suffers from social anxiety and of course... he is really submissive during sex. He enjoys being dominated and it is a core theme in his route as both he and the MC will explore their preferences and realize this is the dynamic they like.

In fact, his route may not even be released for the free version due to the amount of sexual content that will most likely be vital to his story.

I also realize that people who enjoy reading about submissive men are a tiny, tiny minority. Role reversal or gentle femdom is still a huge niche, even among Tailor Tales players. Dimitri was very similar as he is also submissive, though he can switch it up (which is what most people enjoyed). But Aiden won't be switching.

Once James is finished and I start work on Aiden, I know many Patreons will leave, because Aiden is not the type of guy they like to romance. That is why I've thought about Gray a lot, the final route. Gray's route will be reworked and thus, is still a blank slate aside from the fact he is the opposite of Aiden; he is flirty, suave and most importantly, dominant.

And that is why I've decided to look for a writer that will help me write Gray's route. I already struggle with flirty men (I'm alright with dominant, as I have no issues writing James), so I've been thinking that I needed help. If I find a writer for Gray's route, then I will work on Aiden and Gray simultaneously. This way, players won't be alienated because Aiden is submissive, as they can also enjoy Gray, who is the most dominant. A little something for everyone.

It does mean however, progress on the routes will be slower than usual. Even though I have someone helping me write Gray's route, I will still have full control over Aiden - not to mention I have to draw all of the art (sprites, backgrounds etc.) which also takes a lot of time. I project that there will be a single chapter release for both routes each month. Depending on how much help I get, it may be more.
