If I'm not mistaken I'm pretty sure Eren knew his head was going to get blown off. Sure we didn't know until we understood more about the Attack titan seeing the future. I also read the manga ending when it first came out and I liked the ending. I don't know why people made a big deal about it. I think it was obvious that Eren was going to do some Code Geass shit after the time skip happen. Which is why I felt bad for a clip I saw of the creator crying when someone told him they liked the ending of the manga. He got lots of hate during that time.

yeah I would say the little story at the very end of him showing how no matter what humanity does to get peace, history will repeat itself. What I took from it is that most likely they had 100+ years of peace but some fuck tard passed down the history of the titans and the people from Paradis, which lead them to getting nuked. It also makes sense because there is no way not 1 person who survived the rumbling didn't hate what Eren did and didn't blame the Eldians for it.

OP AND AoT TOP 1 story's ever told during the same time. GoT being 2(mfs hoe season 7 bc of 8, but season 7 was was goated, if anyone says otherwise its cap, s7 the only reason why we were so hyped and then highly disappointed with the execution of s8)

That second eren death wasn’t bad to me at all especially knowing zeke played catch with his dad. yes it happened quick but zeke knew what he had to do too so ofc he’s gonna try and catch eren and make that connection.

Aot was being hyped to all hell man. I thought people were boosting so I decided to eventually check it out for myself and I was NOT disappointed. Aot is one of the greatest anime of all-time, it might be in my top 5. It's definitely top 10. The storytelling and writing, the soundtrack, the emotion, the animation, the dialogue, everything is fire 🔥. Straight gas. Sad to see it go.

Yo I just realized that one creepy ending on episode 49 was probably exactly what eren saw when he kissed Historia’s hand. It shows the battle of shiganshina before it happened, armin being burnt to a crisp, etc.

AOT set itself up like it had some sort of philosophy to offer on racism and discrimination. Waiting all this time to find out that's it's message was just "war and racism is inevitable" is kinda just boring. Look at one piece for example. Their philosophy of "keep holding out hope till a revolution comes" holds a lot more weight to it

I normally laugh at Rob playing devils advocate in every discussion but this time he just seems like he was looking for things to not like. He might’ve been the only one to actually think Gabi killed Eren in that scene lol how would that have been cool after she already took out Sasha? That’s legit my favorite episode for that reason. If you look at the season finale of s3, they actually show scenes from season 4, which is theorized to be the things eren saw as well
