the thing with cobra kai is they only want their leaders to shine. Miyagi do wants all the students to prevail. We can not forget all the things terry has done. and something he did that does effect a student was Cheating tori. if he cared for his students and believed his teachings worked why cheat. he also beat viper who wanted to be a student to stop kreese from making students "soft" even tho in the real world its a balance. all im saying is it seems like cobra kai doesn't keep students long bc majority of people who were once in cobra kai are settled at Miyagi do

Y’all also forgetting Tory doesn’t even want to be there.she’s only there for kreese. It was episode 5 i think, when she was talking to Kreese. She was like,” I’m lying to someone I fear.” She was talking about Silver. He’s not a good person. That’s why you have to pay attention. And I honestly think Tory changed because of herself. She put in the work in season 4 when Amanda was helping her. She’s definitely grown a lot as a character and not because of Silver or Kreese, but hard work she did herself.

cobra kai only wants the best to win tho, miyagi do teaches all of the students equally regardless of how good. yes you want winners, but if i had a kid and they went there and wasn’t that good starting off. then cobra kai would probably eat him alive, if he doesnt get better.
