Pat you’re right, Jerry you’re right. Rob said it well about both sides having legitimate arguments.BUT Everyone obviously missed Jerry’s argument. Doesn’t mean Pat is wrong. But, Jerry was saying that Luffy is still going to have the mentality of guns blazing. And of course everyone can agree on that. If anything the difference is, he’s going to have the confidence that his new moves, or new attack is going to actually do damage this time. I get with Pat is saying, he is right. Luffy always does come back with a strategy or stronger. That argument wasn’t put forth until strategy was counted as not guns blazing. That is not what Jerry is saying, he is clearly saying that Luffy is still an impulsive person. Does he get stronger? Yes, does that change how impulsive he is? No. Just makes him THAT much more confident. Both Pat and Jerry are right, it’s just that both of them are so stuck on their point, then neither one can see how different their points are, as well as how agreeable and supportive they are.

Luffy being blinded by emotion is IN HIS CHARACTER. He has never not been that way. Even knowing his enemy, he still fights. It’s one of the reasons why we like him, but it’s something he never changes about himself. And do we really think that him being stronger later, is going to diminish any MORE confidence in him? Honestly to me it’s just gonna make him more confident in his attacks. Luffy is always impulsive and it’s in his nature. He will always go in guns blazing. As if blacking out was pushing Luffy to fight when he was already on his way like y’all said.
