It's just the fact that Tory was willing to fatally hurt her and Sam barely got out of that situation. One wrong move and it could've been it for Sam and Sam is constantly thinking about what could've happened. To Sam it felt like a life or death situation and she's in fear of being in that situation again.

Basically it's more about the person using the weapon than the actual weapon. To Sam Tory was able to turn that fight into a life or death situation out of nowhere by using her bracelet so she thinks Tory is capable of using whatever resource to fatally hurt her. Even in one of her dreams Tory showed up to the dojo and tried to drown her in the pond. She's in fear of what Tory is capable of.

Not only that but they beat up the kid that they took the money from so they definitely threw the first punch. I just think these guys like to blame Sam for stuff that she didn't start.

Sam got physically and emotionally scarred from Tori during that school fight so it's understandable why she froze up when she showed up. She just wanted to show Cobra Kai that they're tired off being their punching bag but unfortunately it ended up with Sam reliving through her trauma and Demetri getting his arm broken. These guys keep saying that Sam/Miyagi-Do started things but Cobra Kai kept messing with them after the school incident.

Nah they bugging saying Miyagi-Do started it. That's not even the point of the storyline. The point is that Kreese influenced Cobra Kai so much that his teachings caused the Cobra Kais to start it and go too far and now because of that things are wilder. I feel em about not liking Sam, I feel em about Sam thinking she's that girl and she's not but besides that nah they got the storyline wrong and they're heavily underestimating trauma. They gotta dial it back and rethink things. It just feels like they don't agree with Sam and the Miyagis because Cobra Kai's cooler and is winning fights. It ain't about who's cool yall.
