Shirelys father was most likely a civilian. We saw him on camera at the hotel jacking, he wasn't wearing a soldier uniform. We saw the landslide and it went pass the "line" that the Britannian army marked as off limits which means he destroyed parts of the city where civilians were still around and so probably had alot of casualties.

Suzaku is a really cool character to me, knowing all the stuff what's gonna happen. You shouldn't hate him blindly though. He works in the army because he wants to bring change slowly from the inside and to prevent people from dying. He doesn't agree with how Britannia handles things but also doesn't agree with Zero using people as pawns to be sacrificed, just how he sacrificed people like Shirley's father, who died in the landslide he caused. Suzaku is a very troubled person who can't let innocents die, no matter what.

The part about snow forgetting its color and it being white is alluding to how C.C. views herself. Lelouch saying that he still finds snow being beautiful, it means that he doesn't care about her past and accepting her as she is right now. It's honestly one of my favorite scenes.

Great two episodes and lot of familiar voices in the series too besides Lelouch. Sasuke's voice actor is Suzaku and Sakura voice actress is C.C (green hair girl)

Just found out that Lloyd is Gaara. Sound nothing alike he completely switched his voice and Gino is Kakashi and some background character is definitely Neji i could tell

listen, everyone at the school is britanian, everyone in the resistance is japanese, lelouch is britanian royalty but no one knows that, suzaku is japanese, the father that died was part of the britanian millitary and since lelouch fights with the resistance (japan), naturally they killed a lot of britanians

No Shirleys father wasn’t part of the resistance. In episode 10 when they showed the battle they showed how the landslide destroyed a city as collateral. Shireyls father was on business in that city and was killed as a civilian. And this affect lelouch because as he vows to walk the path of blood he sees first hand how his actions can affect real people.

The Sekkuradite that they mentioned they mine in Mount Fuji, is the resource they use to power the Knightmares. Thats why you always see the spinning cube when Suzaku gets into the Lancelot. That spinning cube is the Sekkuradite.

Alright so ik this is super in the past but Shirley's dad was just one of the people in the city when the landslide hit it, not a soldier.
