Damn you guys really hate Jaime 🤣

Anonymous

I know you guys haven’t warmed up to Jaime like most of us but I love Jaime and Bron and Dany and Drogon (not equality cause fuck Jaime/Bron if I HAD to pick). I was AN ANXIETY FILLED MESS during this episode lol. I didn’t want any of them to die but I needed Dany to get that W

Anonymous

The NK is the guy who was tied to the tree(a lot of bran speculation surrounding this I won’t get into) the lieutenants are Crasters babies who’ve grown rapidly quick..

Anonymous

I just don't understand the Jaime hate at all, rob always has everything twisted

Anonymous

How do you not understand it? He’s complicated... everyone is not gonna like him and they don’t have to ... Even the people that like him are annoyed at what a bitch he is for Cersei lol

John Conti

This list may help you with the pronunciations of characters and places. It's bran not brawn by the way. https://gameofthrones.fandom.com/wiki/Pronunciation_guide

Robert said nothing can stop a Dalthraki horde on open field.

Having air superiority in this time is like having a nuke. It's just unfair

Anonymous

Only a fool would face the dothraki in an open field

Check out the “Dance of Dragons” from the “Game of Thrones animated series on YouTube. The DVD’s have them for every season. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WY_GyBuuf_c&t=235s. They’re narrated by the shows cast. From the description... "The fight between Rhaenyra Targaryen and her half-brother Aegon for control over the Seven Kingdoms. Both of them thought they belonged on the Iron Throne. When people started declaring for one of them or the other, their fight divided the kingdoms in two. Brothers fought brothers, dragons fought dragons. By the time it was over, thousands were dead. And it was a disaster for the Targaryens as well. They never truly recovered." ―Princess Shireen Baratheon, S5E9

I know right, I’ve watched just about every reactor to GOT and nobody was on Jaimes case as much as Rob.Its kinda funny that he doesn’t get it though😬

one of my top 4 fav episodes. Daenerys Stormborn all day every day :)

They resolve that cliff hanger in the weakest way imaginable.

One of the greatest episode of television bruh! I remember tearing up when Drogon & Dany appeared through those clouds! That battle was too good for TV, I'd pay to see this in theaters.

Anonymous

FUN FACT! During that battle when the dragon breathes fire on the lannister men, the stuntmen are ACTUALLY GETTING SET ON FIRE!!!!!!! They were wearing fire resistant clothes and they had to very quickly extinguish the REAL FIRE on them after every take. It's AMAZING!

Anonymous

"whats a lion to a dragon nigga!" wait till u see in a few seven deadly sins episodes...

I'm not one to get emotional over shows/movies, but when I first saw this episode last year my heart was racing cause I genuinely didn't know if anyone was gonna die during that battle. I definitely rank this episode higher than Battle of the Bastards based on the fact that it was more unpredictable. BotB was very black & white since Ramsay has been comically evil the whole time and we just got Jon back so even though it was an amazing episode to watch, you could figure out how it would end for the most part. But this episode you had the Bronn + Jaime buddy duo on one side and the Dothraki finally crossing over to Westeros with Dany at the helm on a dragon on the other. Years of history and following these characters' arcs all coming together in this moment, and they set it up for each character to die really well (Bronn being forced to use the Scorpion and the shot of the gold spilling, Dany possibly losing Drogon would be a huge blow to her confidence, and Jaime with a Hail-Mary attempt at taking down another Targaryen in a last-ditch effort to redeem himself as we the viewers have grown attached to him over the seasons).

yooo no way!!? i didnt know that craster’s sons grew up that quick, I thought the lieutenants were from thousands of years ago and we got no explanation on the babies. That’s cool to know haha. Do you know why they grow so fast??

epitome22

Awesome reaction guys!! This was my fav episode from the season, other than the last one.

I'll take this over TBOTB. I've seen battles like that before (Gladiator, Troy, etc.) It's just GOT did it better than I've ever seen before. But I've never seen a battle with a fucking dragon tearing up shit, flying above, reigning fire down on people!

Anonymous

I hear you soul sister. I Stan Khaleesi over the old gods and the new.

Why tf rob gotta be so goddamn annoying

Alex Gonzalez

Lmao for the first time in this whole series i didn’t here that dumb fuck ass quote “das muh dawwwtaaa” lol fuckin finally 😂

Sheraya san

since S1 they’ve been talking about Dany coming to westeros and doing this to her enemies and when i saw this, i got teary eyed, Dany is my bitch and i waited so long for her to have this moment so to see her finally get to Dragonstone & shake westeros up! but instead tyrion kept holding her back allowing their allies to be slaughtered. she listened to jon & tyrion’s advice and combined it w lady olenna’s to do this. now they know her dragons aren’t a myth and she will wreck their shit if she wanted to. my fave ep of the season hands down along w the finale

Anonymous

I need Ep.5 boys. Where is she? :D

Anonymous

Awww all these fanboys going nuts cuz Rob doesn't like their boy Jaime. I bet if he was spouting hate towards Sansa 24/7 he'd be your king lmao

Anonymous

Jamie is a better character then Dany

Anonymous

"That shit don't float!" LOL!!! Love it baby!

Sheraya san

Dany is a way better character than Jaimie, that’s for sure. that’s why she’s more popular too

Nick

Popularity is not a reliable measure of determining quality. For example, the Transformers franchise is extremely popular and produces loads of profit; does this equate to the Transformers movies being consistently amazing? The reason why people praise Jamie's character is that he is introduced as someone that most find despicable but slowly throughout the series the layers of his character are revealed to the audience, making his motivations clearer and more sympathetic. He undergoes a redemption arc and ends up becoming an appealing character via his development with Brienne. From this point on, we can see he is a relatively level-headed guy who acts in favor of maintaining as much peace as possible. This is what we call complex characterization, fleshing out, and development. Dany on the other hand, is a girl put in a horrible situation who we are meant to sympathize with from the start and through various trials and tribulations becomes a strong figure and worthy of taking the Iron Throne. There is nothing necessarily wrong with this, and imo she is a pretty decent character. But, it's pretty clear why one would find Jamie more interesting than Dany.

Rob is annoying as hell

Top 5 GoT episode. Don't fuck with Dany and her squad!

Anonymous

I love Rob's reaction to Arya exchanging glances with LittleFinger after her sparring session with Brienne. He cracks him self up :)

Sanatea

keep in mind the lannister line was broken by a fucking dragon so it wasn't really a fair fight. They still remained pretty organized all things considered. The lannister army is extremely well trained. Gotta respect it.
