Well, Zeke's plan sucks, but I can see how someone with his life experience will come up with a plan like that. After 100 years of oppression, the level of hopelessness and self-hatred among some of the Eldians in Liberio is just unbearable. Just like Reiner, Zeke is just looking for a way to die. But, he wants his death to be meaningful (you have mentioned before how important existentialism is in this show), so, he is trying to at least take all the titans away with him. We have seen villains in other shows that believe they are in the right, but I think that this is specially true for Zeke. He was just a sweet little child that was used by his parents to advance their interests. Grisha himself said it in episode 3x20: "Not as a child of royal blood, not as the hope of restoring Eldia, but as my son Zeke, had I ever thought of him that way?" We saw also in that episode that Zeke called the police on his parents which is such a heavy decision for a child to take on his own. We are finally shown in this episode that that was actually Mr. Saver's decision, the true father figure in Zeke's childhood, and that it was done in order to protect Zeke and his grandparents, since his parents were doom anyway. We have seen Zeke do terrible things but, at the end of the day, he is just a cog in the machine of war. He has no option but to comply, otherwise there will always be another Marleyan warrior ready to take his place and his grandparents will also pay the price and be turned into "Titan weapons". (Just like the poor guys from episode 4x01 that were thrown out of a blimp and turned into titans.) He using baseball references in the field can be seen now not as a sign of cruelty, but as his way of disassociating himself from the atrocities he is committing. He has convinced himself that he is not actually killing these people but "saving" them from the suffering of "being born into this cruel world". (Which, of course, is a sentence that we have been hearing all the way back to episode 1x07, when Mikasa mentions it.) We have seen glimpses of his viewpoint before: In episode 3x17 when he was upset that they survey corps were charging at him and throwing their lives away meaninglessly. In episode 3x18 when he told Eren: "Someday, I'm coming back to rescue you" (the full meaning of that promise now finally clear), In episode 4x01 when he told Reiner: "Isn't war a terrible thing?" and in episode 4x02 when he answered his grandfather comment of: "You have achieved great things, Zeke" with "No, not yet". It is now clear that he was referring to his plan with that answer. Talking about plans, currently they all suck, we have: 1. The plan from the survey corps, which is to have a test run of the Rumbling with the help of Hizuru and hope that far away in the future they can find a miracle solution to the problem. This plan involves sacrificing HIstoria by having her eat Zeke and then having her children eat her. 2. The plan from Marley, which is to take control of the Founding TItan and (probably) exterminate all Eldians living in Paradise Island. 3. Zeke's plan, which involves the "forced Euthanasia" of all Eldians. (Of course, "forced Euthanasia" is better known by other name...) 4. Whatever Eren told the Jaegerist that the plan is, since I don't think people like Floch are on board with Zeke's plan. However, it is almost impossible to come up with a better plan since Marley is clearly not interested in negotiating. Just like in real life, the show has created a problem with a seemingly impossible solution. Anyway, excellent reaction as always, can't wait for your next videos!

I always thought it was weird that eren agreed to his plan but when you think about it, it makes sense. Season 1 Eren: "I'll exterminate all the titans" Season 4 eren: "the 2000 years of titan domination will end at my hands.". Zeke plan is basically a peaceful genocide but still genocide... So, it's still wrong in my eyes. Zeke's story on the other hand is just sad.
